The complex interplay across hallmarks of aging in the skin and systemic biological aging suggests that physiological processes associated with skin aging influence, and are influenced by, systemic hallmarks of aging. This bidirectional relationship provides potential avenues for the prevention of accelerated biological aging and the identification of therapeutic targets.

Our Approach
A virtuous cycle of growth, data, and innovation
The DermaDAO model operates as a continuous compounding flywheel where each track reinforces the others. Track A (SkinScan App) brings users into the ecosystem through AI-driven skin scans and personalized routines. These users are then introduced to Track B (Moon Drops & Sun Drops), where real-world products validate results and generate data. That data, along with product revenue, flows into Track C (DAO Research), funding research innovations. Breakthrough discoveries from the DAO then feed back into the app’s recommendations and new product formulations, strengthening both user trust and scientific credibility. This cycle compounds over time, creating a self-reinforcing loop of adoption, validation, and innovation that positions DermaDAO as the first scalable DeSci ecosystem for skin health.

Physician-scientist and entrepreneur with a PhD in Immunology and Computational Biology from Cornell University, with prior scientific training at Yale and the University of Cambridge. Experienced across cell biology, genetics, biosensors, and translational research, with additional expertise in drug development, biopharma strategy, and life sciences investing in the US, UK, and EU. Passionate about advancing innovation in dermatology, skincare, and longevity through science-driven solutions and commercialization.
Dongsinne Sohn
French-Korean entrepreneur building at the intersection of health and Web3. Dongsinne previously built a skincare company for children suffering from eczema (atopic dermatitis) and has managed major crypto events worldwide for a decade.
